Rod Slater (Chairman)
Rod is an automotive industry specialist with over 50-years experience. An automotive mechanic by trade, Rod has worked in sales, management and governance roles within the industry. Rod is also a successful businessman and owner of Eurogroup, an organisation that specialises in the distribution of European vehicles in Western Australia.
Kim Young (Deputy Chair)
Kim has been working in the Building and Construction Industry for over 40-years. He is currently the Manager for Employee Relations at Brookfield Multiplex Constructions – a major player in the commercial construction industry in Western Australia.
Kim was a founding member of the Building and Construction Industry Training Fund Board and the Building and Construction Industry Training Council of Western Australia.
Patricia Morris
Patricia Morris is a former Mayor of Gosnells having served two terms, the first from 1989 – 1993 and the second from 1999 – 2007. Patricia has represented local Government locally, state wide and nationally and has held positions on numerous boards, advisory groups and committees within the community.
In 2002, Patricia was a recipient of the Australian Government Order of Australia.
Robert Shaw
A Carpenter by Trade since 1981, Robert has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the Building and Construction industry. As a Director of Daly & Shaw Building Pty Ltd, his current role involves overseeing building and business procedures and identifying and researching opportunities for business growth.

Kevin Sale
Kevin Sale has many years experience in the Building and Construction Industry having started out as a tradesman, a plumber, in 1960. He has since held many senior positions in reputable building companies and is actively involved in many local industry organisations such as the Master Builders Association of Western Australia of which he is a past President.
Richard Duffy
Richard Duffy has extensive experience over the last 25 years in the Oil & Gas, Mining & Petrochemical Industry. He has an Advanced Diploma in Business management and has achieved numerous awards for personnel and collective high performance including the Franco Belgiorno-Nettis Award (Transfield Services highest achievement awarded). Originally from the United Kingdom, Richard has spent the last 15 years in senior roles including Alliance Manager at the Caltex Lytton Refinery in Brisbane and Maintenance Services Manager for the Transfield Worley Joint Venture with Woodside. Richard’s current role is General Manager Operations, Resources & Industrials – Western Region for Transfield Services.
