The Australian Trades College WA is seeking applications from Qualified Automotive Mechanics holding an Australian Trade Certificate to join our professional team of Facilitators at our Maddington Campus to deliver high quality trade training to trades people of the future.

This role requires a motivated and committed person to provide a learning environment for school-based Apprentices to acquire theoretical and practical skills and knowledge to position them as the best Apprentices in their industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deliver and assess trade training curriculum at Certificate I, II and III level
  • Develop and utilise appropriate assessment tools and tasks.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • Must be a qualified Automotive Mechanic holding an Australian Trade Certificate
  • Must have previous experience working with and training apprentices either on or off the job
  • High level written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Recent industry experience

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience in a training environment
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment or Cert IV in Assessment and Workplace Training
