Australian School Based Apprenticeships
What is an Australian School-based Apprenticeship'
An Australian School-based Apprenticeship is a mix of academic, vocational and technical education where a student’s school work, training and work all fit together.
ASbA’s are open to students 15 years of age or over who are permanent residents of Australia. ASbA’s can provide you a great head-start on your career path and provide an important and informative link to the working world.
At ATC - Perth South we will assist you to plan and organise an apprenticeship that will enable you to:
- Participate in a combination of school subjects as well as on and off the job training
- Progress towards gaining a nationally recognised qualification
- Work towards completing your High School Certificate (WACE)
- Keep open the option of further education and training
